Anticipated Full-Time Elementary School Counselor
Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School is seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team. In this tenure-track role, you will provide comprehensive counseling services that support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of our PK-6 students.
Responsibilities
Provide responsive, individualized counseling services to students
Develop and implement character education programs that support student growth
Offer guidance and professional development support to school staff
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to build strong support networks for students
Serve as Case Monitor for students on 504 plans and act as McKinney Vento Liaison
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Valid New Jersey School Counselor certification
Experience working with elementary-age students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
CPI certification preferred but not required

Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School is seeking caring, reliable individuals to work with students in grades PreK-6 as paraprofessionals.
This is a part-time, 10-month position, Monday through Friday, following the Sandyston-Walpack school calendar. Morning, afternoon, and partial-day shifts are available. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Provide instructional support to individual students or small groups
Assist teachers with classroom supervision
Supervise students in the cafeteria and on the playground
Support students with special needs

Anticipated Part-Time Custodial Staff - Summer and School Year
Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our custodial team. This is a part-time position beginning in the summer and continuing through the school year.
Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
Set up and break down spaces for school events and activities
Monitor and report facility maintenance needs to the appropriate staff
Follow established health, safety, and sanitation procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Prior custodial or facilities maintenance experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Ability to work cooperatively with school staff

Daily Substitute Teachers
Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School is seeking qualified individuals to serve as substitute teachers in grades PreK-6. Substitutes play an important role in maintaining a consistent, productive learning environment when classroom teachers are absent. This is a per diem position, following the Sandyston-Walpack school calendar.
Responsibilities
Implement lesson plans left by the classroom teacher
Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
Take attendance and follow established school routines and procedures
Communicate any concerns or notable incidents to the appropriate staff member at the end of the day
Qualifications
Valid New Jersey Substitute Teacher certificate required
Experience working with school-age children preferred
Reliable, professional, and able to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
