Anticipated Art Teacher - Part Time
The Sandyston Walpack Consolidated School District is seeking a qualified PK-6 Art Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year in a Part Time capacity. The position has flexibility to be two to five days per week. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to inspire creativity and artistic expression in our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art education, with the ability to engage students of varying skill levels and backgrounds. This role involves creating a supportive learning environment that fosters artistic growth and encourages students to explore their creativity through various mediums.
Responsibilities may include:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective weekly art lessons to students in grades PK-6.
Establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth.
Develop students' interest, abilities, talents, and skills for artistic expression and creativity as well as understanding and appreciation by implementing district-approved curriculum.
Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate and Subject Area Endorsement or eligibility required.
A Criminal History Review and Background Check are required.
