IN-HOME TUTORING POSITION/HOME INSTRUCTOR

Sandyston Walpack Consolidated School District is seeking an in-home tutor for a third-grade student for ten (10) hours a week. We are seeking a certified teacher who would be willing to do a portion or all of this tutoring in math and ELA. Tutoring can take place during the school day or after school hours. Materials and lesson plans will be provided by the school; communication with the student's grade-level teachers will be available.

Qualifications Include:    

• NJ Elementary School Teacher Certification, K-6

• Criminal history background check required

PT Classroom Aides/Paraprofessionals

Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School is seeking caring individuals interested in working with children aged Preschool through 6th grade as a paraprofessional/classroom aide. Part-time, Monday through Friday, 10-month position according to the Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School calendar. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support for individual or small groups of students

• Assist teacher with classroom supervision

• Supervise students in the cafeteria and playground

• Support students with special needs
