The Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School District has had their application approved by the School Development Authority for a Regular Operating District (ROD) Grant up to an amount of $102,211. These grant proceeds reflect approximately 40% of the construction costs for roof repair at the school

you will pick your child up, but they typically take the bus
your child needs to take the bus, but you typically pick them up
your child will stay after school for an activity
you will pick your child up before dismissal

The Sandyston-Walpack Board of Education will hold regular meeting on the last Wednesday of each month (otherwise stated) at 6:00 P.M. in the art room of the school in Layton. Formal action will be taken at the regular meetings to enable the Board of Education to conduct its business. The public is invited to attend the regular meetings.

Notice of Board Vacancy
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Sandyston-Walpack Board of Education will be seeking a candidate to fill a vacant seat. Candidates must be a citizen of the United States of America, able to read and write, a resident of Sandyston Township for at least one year, a registered voter, not directly/indirectly interested in any contract or claim against the Board and shall not be disqualified as a voter pursuant to N.J.S.A 19:4-1.
Interested candidates are requested to send a letter of interest and resume, no later than 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2025, to the Sandyston Walpack Board of Education, Tina Palecek, Board Secretary, 100 Route 560, Layton, NJ 07851, or via email tpalecek@sandystonwalpack.org. Interviews will be conducted at the March 26, 2025 Board meeting.
