2021-2022 Sandyston-Walpack School

Kindergarten Registration

Sandyston-Walpack School Kindergarten registration will begin March 2, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It is not necessary to bring your child in for the registration process. Children must be five years of age by October 1st. In order to register your child, please download the registration forms from our website, www.sandystonwalpack.org.


At the time of registration, you will need to present: completed registration forms, immunization records, a driver’s license, 2 forms of proof of residency, and a copy of your child’s birth certificate. Proof of a completed physical is also required prior to the child’s first day of school. Board of Education Meetings

2021-2022

The Sandyston-Walpack Board of Education will hold regular meeting on the last Wednesday of each month (otherwise stated) at 6:00 P.M. in the art room of the school in Layon. Formal action will be taken at the regular meetings to enable the Board of Education to conduct its business. The public is invited to attend the regular meetings. The Board will meet on the following dates:

During the Public Comments portion of the meeting the hand raising function of our virtual platform will be used to allow public comment. You may also submit public comments in advance of the board meeting via e-mail or in written letter form to Dr. Vincent Occhino, Board Secretary at vocchino@sandystonwalpack.org. All public comments must include your name and address for the record. All public comments received prior to 12:00 pm the day of the BOE meeting will be read during the public participation section on the meeting.

Remote Learning Lunches:

For those families who would like to utilize our cafeteria services for lunch, please fill out the Google Form link: https://forms.gle/xMgE5niosr4Jk4pD8. Families must complete this form by the Friday prior to the week they would like meals. Meals continue to be free for all Sandyston-Walpack Students. Meals must be picked up every Monday and Wednesday in our front vestibule between the hours of 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. If you need an alternate time and date for pickup please reach out to the main office. If meals are ordered and not picked-up our district will be charged for the meals. If this occurs, your family will be responsible for the cost.


Meals during the remote time will consist of the possible following items:

  • Italian Sub & vegetable

  • Turkey & Cheese Sandwich & vegetable

  • Frozen, Reheatable Chicken & vegetable

  • Frozen, Reheatable Cheeseburger & vegetable

  • Frozen, Reheatable personal pizza & vegetable

  • Muffin & Yogurt Meal
